Physical Oceanographer @ Center for Remote Sensing


We seek a recent Ph.D. graduate from U.S. institution in physical oceanography or satellite oceanography to begin immediately. The objectives of research are to use satellite observations (sea-level, wind, SST, ocean color, backscattering, etc.) in conjunction with in situ data to study the dynamics and thermodynamics of the ocean circulation, upper ocean physical processes and air-sea interactions. A wide range of approaches is encouraged: statistical methods, numerical modeling, data analyses and data assimilation, etc.
